All parts of the Onion Saga of this compilation were written and
recorded by Lord Sargeburt between spring 2019 and autumn 2022.
Initially an independent project, it tells the story of the small onion people and their hopeless fight against the relentless, demonic forestfolk of the Dorne.
"Brave Little Onions" tells from the night before the battle to the massacre that took place at dawn. The brave struggle of the small onion people who, although doomed to die, fought to protect their loved ones and their home village.
"Atlas, the backpack birb" is about the little enchanted bird Atlas who is looking for a cure to break the curse that weighs on him.
He witnessed the horror the thorns wrought on the onionfolk, and his small tears combined with the blood of little knights before one of the Dorne caught him by surprise.
"Unbreakable Onion Will" is about the last survivors of the little people.
The rebuilding of the village and their prayers to the fallen, when unexpectedly a small onion knight with a thumb-sized companion returns to his people.
But what happened after the massacre?
How did the little onion knight and the magician... turned into a bird survive? How did the two find each other and what adventures did they experience on their journey?
So the onion people sat together around the big fire
to listen to the incredible story of the two homecomers...
