902 - 1129 AD - Initially recovered from an unmarked vault buried beneath ruins of the original St. Peter's Cathedral in Osnabrück, found in this section of the text is a collection of writings and meditations on the nature of the soul and gnosis. Several hundred years after their unearthing, the contents of this work would go on to influence the beliefs and activities of a breakaway sect of German crusaders during the first crusade. The many atrocities committed by these men, now considered to have been either a part of or a parallel to the Rhineland Massacres, were done in the pursuit of freeing the imprisoned souls of others.
