This album was written and recorded using the wonderful ELZ-1 synthesizer. Because of the synth's small size and portability, I wrote the majority of the album as a series of sequences before going to sleep every night.

The final sequences were recorded and mastered in Reaper. Each song is recorded in one take as a small window into the possibilities of the ELZ-1's powerful sequencer. In order to learn more about the synth, I chose to design my own patches instead of using preset sounds. It was a surprisingly easy device to learn; I'm uploading this album just four days after receiving my ELZ-1 in the mail.
