As always the goal of this music is a sort of spiritual catharsis, traveling to dark corners within one's self that are normally hidden, buried, and left to secrecy. Same as the debut, vocals would only intrude in the storytelling of the tales kept within the music, so the instruments were left to speak for themselves once more.
