The immortal falls from his horse, an arrow protruding from his abdomen. He will die. But his gift isn't invulnerability, it's resurrection. The pain, though, very much remains the same as any mortal.

His Ethereum Riders rush to him, he's becoming delirious...distant.

"Poison. Of course." One of the Riders recognized it's effects.

"We gotta get him off the field. Leave 20, that plus the Archspire Legion will be enough to finish this."

The Rider lifted the Immortal to his horse, and as they rushed away from the carnage the immortal began to drift.

The pounding sounds of his fellow riders galloping horses like war drums giving heed to his mental descension.

He will die. He will awaken almost immediately upon last breath. But he will suffer first.

The last thing the Rider of the immortal said to the Archspire Legion

"Find the hunters poisoning their tips. Burn them alive."
