'Abiogenocide', the 33rd full length album by UK underground solo project stalwarts Infernal Symphony, is a delectable slab of the darkest, weirdest and heaviest aural carnage we have ever summoned forth from the carnal pits of history. A portmanteau of abiogenesis, the procedure by which life first began, and genocide, an unlawful mass killing, this title sums up the album which lays before you now.

Covering everything from sinking ships to agonising torture, with reference to glory, uncharted territory and everything in between, this all-new release (and seventh utilising the band's new-and-improved recording setup) does not relent, nor does it shy away from the terrors and tribulations of the medieval world.

Taking our previous post-upgrade release and massive success 'Evil Spirits' as a blueprint, 'Abiogenocide' unleashes all hell with 9 insane tracks of sludgier, darker pure death metal interlaced with new sounds, shapes and inspiration.

Recorded quickly to maximise the brutality, this new record excels at changing up the annihilation on display right when you least expect it. New instrumental tones are brought to the fore to... provide gloomy, disturbing atmosphere, while the barbaric and primal vocals of band figurehead Demonic Bishop roar directly into your mind.

Providing tales of battered sea dogs exploring unknown lands, the anguish of suffering from tuberculosis, the mystique of travelling merchants, warriors and bards alike, and bearing witness to all manner of disgustingly depressing tales, this album's lyrical content was extensively researched and takes no prisoners.
