Infernal Symphony has finally awakened from it's lengthy slumber... to bring you this. 'Suicide Misanthropy', our first batch of new tunes in 6 months, and first release of 2019!

Talk about returning with a bang. After the insane successes of 'Tapestry of Torment' and 'Carnival Of Chaos', we have decided to reign things in a bit and craft a piece of pure, concentrated oppression, taking risks and taking names while we're at it!

The expansiveness of past releases has diminished, whilst leaving a leaner, meaner and more potent assault that does more with less and evokes the deepest, darkest feelings humanity can muster. This unlocks a whole host of new approaches and sounds, and makes Infernal Symphony sound fresh, inspired and with purpose, focusing on riffs and building tension while burning with a beating heart dripping with emotion.

This album was derived and pieced together using the remains of two unreleased full albums that met an unfortunate end at the hands of a malfunctioning hard drive - 'Suicide Serenade' and 'Monumental Misanthropy'. In an unexpected and fortunate twist of fate, the resulting compilation of what was left from those two albums actually ended up having the best of both worlds - a smooth and... biting mix of progressive, schizophrenic death doom and demonic, melodic ambience.

Compared to our previous material, each of the 10 tracks on this beastly battalion of music never skips a beat or wastes a single note. Riffs are harrowing and crushing, yet airy and mellow, each passage giving the others space to breathe and lulling you into a false sense of security before unexpectedly pummelling you with disturbingly deadly dischord. We have never sounded this concise, dangerous or threateningly confident. No space is wasted, and no stones are left unturned in our quest to broaden our sound and destroy vast unexplored reaches of the mind.

Unparalleled in form, and unsettling in nature, this release delves into a myriad of sensitive and disturbing topics, ranging from mental disorders and depression, through to Christian atrocity, writer's block, Alzheimer's, worldwide corruption, suicide, and the Cambodian Civil War. These themes evoke the same response as the music does - that of terror, instability, and an unnerving sense that things could go off the rails at any moment. Much like the modern world we live in, you could say.

Indicitive of the band's willingness to constantly evolve and breach ever-more engaging and multi-layered musical territory, this album displays all the hallmarks of a crushing master songsmith. A little less on-the-nose than some of our previous works, 'Suicide Misanthropy' displays poise, noise, songcraft, crunch-laden groove, melancholy, vicious melody, razor-sharp production and nuance - and an entirely different pace and atmosphere to anything that has come before it.
