In both ode and elegy, this album pays tribute to nights of raising hell on the ridge, the lonesome nature of wisdom, and the spirit of the land. There are secret histories in every gully, wrecked barn, and lost pasture.The Hill Dweller, haunted by a ruinous and hereditary nostalgia, is the ghost that wanders amongst these places.
