Hard to pinpoint overall specific influences as this project came about through a specific chain of events, and there was little to draw upon when Orc was initially active (2000-2003) or at least what there was was hard to find.
But aside from various soundtracks to Television, film, and computer games, and brief exposure to one or two of the side projects of black metal bands of the 90s, there were components of various bands that built Orc.
The biggest influence would be Coil (especially the albums 'Horse Rotorvator' and 'Scatology'), Fad Gadget (the album 'Incontinent' which had some very medieval overtones), Killing Joke (for their very tribal approach to percussion), Ministry (percussion on 'The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste' and subsequent tour)
