Le château du Grand-Geroldseck est un château fort médiéval en ruine situé dans la commune française de Haegen, dans le département du Bas-Rhin. Il s'agit d'un des plus anciens châteaux des Vosges du Nord, fondé au début du XIIe siècle par les sires de Geroldseck, avoués de l'abbaye de Marmoutier, pour assurer la protection de ses territoires. Il constitue un bel ensemble de demeure seigneuriale. Édifié sur une plate-forme, il combine les fonctions d'habitation et de défense. Il a été fortement remanié aux XIIIe siècle, XIVe siècle et XVe siècle.

The castle of Grand-Geroldseck is a ruined medieval castle located in the French commune of Haegen, in the department of Bas-Rhin. It is one of the oldest castles of the Northern Vosges, founded in the early twelfth century by the lords of Geroldseck, admitted to the Abbey of Marmoutier, to ensure the protection of its territories. It is a beautiful set of stately home. Built on a platform, it combines the functions of housing and defense. It was strongly reworked in the thirteenth century, fourteenth century and fifteenth century
