This album is the conclusion to the trilogy started three years ago by Gates of Autumn and continued by We Left. First started as a planned serie, over the few years it transformed into something more important, and kind of a lingering "path I had to finish" for me. Now completing this trilogy I feel thoroughly relieved, but also very much nostalgic about the lost times.

The trilogy itself shares the common theme of personal melancholia and how my life has changed over these times, and the album art (by the great Hugo Simberg), reflecting those thoughts.
