I once walked the world without rest, peace or slumber.

I consumed no food neither did i drink

During that time a vision hit my thirsting body, soul and mind

like a child crying in his mothers arms

i laid myself to sleep going no further and crossed a line of no return

This is what i discovered in that Delirium i have called sleep

yet i am not insane but way beyond my sanity.

As hunger thirst and need hit me harder than before

a pale light emerged from the shadows of the sky

I stumbled across the desolated plains trying to find my way to a safer place.

Suddenly a voice whispered to my ear

I turned around left and right

but no one was seen

There again a silver laugh

a wink sending shivers through my spine

Am i mad, utterly insane?

I asked myself but did not stop my search for clarity

A figure pale and white suddenly emerged from the shadows, gliding... towards me

Now i am finally with thee

The apparition spoke to me with voices far away Your soul and mind does not trick

thee. From this day your heart is mine and for ever it may be.

I grant you wisdom and desires. Now the figure follows me as i walked plains of

sand and fire and my body. Oh Saturn, i walk with thee
