This album is quite special, as it is meant as a present for my beloved E.L. and delves into yet another genre: Dungeon Synthwave. What also makes it quite special is that it somehow echoes and complements Arsule's great new album, LE PHILOSOPHE, due to a strange series of coincidences - or, should i say, synchronicities.

So if you like Synthwave, Dungeon Synth, John Carpenter and Erang's ANTI FUTURE, and if you're not allergic to alchemy and the 1980's, you're probably going to love this one.

Welcome to the night of all possibilities, dear traveler!

I hereby present to you the result of an insane musical quest on the path of the new alchemist, a magician from the 1980’s relentlessly looking for his golden-hair chimera in the secrecy of the Tower of Time. By clicking on the lyrics section of each song, you shall find a poem that will guide you through this maddening NIGHT OF THE MAGICIANS and might even open your eyes on mysteries that too long remained under the veil of silence.


But wait! What is it you see at the end of the corridor, shining in the dark like a star-covered ghost? An arch? A door? A... mirror? Stepping forward, you start hearing a kind of echo. That music seems familiar. Like a voice calling you. That’s ARSULE! She’s waving at you. Her PHILOSOPHER is waiting for you on the other side of the gilded surface. Fear not, fellow pilgrim, for it is indeed here that your salutary wandering will go on once you’ve survived the NIGHT OF THE MAGICIANS.

Bienvenue dans la nuit de tous les possibles, ami voyageur !

Je te présente ici le fruit d'une quête musicale insensée sur le chemin du nouvel alchimiste, magicien des années 80 poursuivant sans relâche sa chimère aux cheveux d'or dans le secret de la Tour du Temps, sur fond de « Dungeon Synthwave ». En te rendant dans la section "lyrics" de chaque morceau, tu trouveras un poème qui te guidera tout au long de cette folle NUIT DES MAGICIENS et t'ouvrira peut-être les yeux sur des mystères demeurés trop longtemps cachés sous le voile du silence.

Mais que vois-tu donc au bout du couloir, brillant dans l’ombre tel un fantôme drapé d’étoiles ? Une arche ? Une porte ? Un miroir ? En t’avançant, tu commences à distinguer comme un écho. Cette musique te rappelle quelque chose. Comme une voix qui t’appelle. C’est ARSULE ! Elle te fait signe. Son PHILOSOPHE t’attend de l’autre côté du miroir. N’aie crainte, ami pèlerin, c’est bien là que se poursuivra ton errance salutaire une fois traversée LA NUIT DES MAGICIENS.
